Webinar on Delayed Planting Options Planned for This Evening
USAgNet - 06/17/2019

The Purdue Center for Commercial Agriculture will broadcast a webinar on Monday evening, June 17th at 6 p.m. (EDT) entitled "Corn & Soybean Price Outlook: Making Your 2019 Soybean Prevented Planting Decisions". During the webinar we'll provide an updated corn and soybean price outlook, which will include information from USDA's June 17 Crop Progress report scheduled for release earlier that afternoon. In addition, we'll also provide our analysis of the soybean prevented planting alternatives facing Corn Belt farmers.

The webinar will feature Purdue ag economists Michael Langemeier and Chris Hurt along with me and we'll look at multiple scenarios to help sort through your alternatives as the June 20th final soybean planting date for full crop insurance coverage approaches in Indiana and the Eastern Corn Belt.

The webinar is free, but you need to register on our website to participate. Click here to register. Before the webinar, you'll receive a link to view the webinar live.
