Wisconsin Was Top U.S. State at 2018 World Cheese Awards

Wisconsin took home more awards for its cheese than any other U.S. state at the recent World Cheese Awards in Norway.
Award-winning Wisconsin cheeses came from seven companies including Roth Cheese, Sartori Cheese, Carr Valley Cheese, Marieke Gouda, Deer Creek Cheese, V&V Supremo Foods, and Ponderosa Dairy Products.
In all, the state took home 24 awards--about a quarter of the total awards given to the United States, including a 'Major Winner' award given to Deer Creek Cheese in the 'Best Vintage Cheddar' category.
Now in its 30th year, the World Cheese Awards received a record-breaking 3,500 entries from every corner of the globe. Those products were judged by 230 experts from 29 nations around the world.
