Kansas Certified Wool Classing School Oct. 19-21

Kansas State University's Animal Sciences and Industry Department will be hosting the Kansas Certified Wool Classing School Oct. 19 to 21 at the KSU Sheep and Meat Goat Center, Manhattan.

Topics covered include wool fiber growth, development and production; objective measurement of wool; genetic selection programs and more. Lisa Surber, Level IV Wool Classing Instructor, will teach the class. The class is limited to 16 students. The fee is $150 per person and is due by Sept. 30.
