Renewable Energy Biomass Furnace for Poultry Farms

Global Re-Fuel has launched an Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign to bring new energy technology to market, which will significantly impact poultry farming. Its warm-air litter-fueled furnace offers a pioneering farm technology that addresses several financial, health and environmental issues facing the agriculture industry.

Global Re-Fuel's on-farm warm-air biomass furnace converts raw poultry litter into energy, providing heat to broiler houses -- eliminating the need for propane. Its conversion of poultry litter to a pathogen-free organic fertilizer helps reduce the nutrient overload and runoff that can cause algae bloom dead zones in waterways.

"Poultry farmers have many concerns, including declining profits, poultry litter management and poultry health," said Rocky Irwin, a founding member of Global Re-Fuel and a Texas poultry grower for more than 10 years.
