A limited-edition Kansas 250 Gift Box is now available for purchase through the From the Land of Kansas state trademark program at the Kansas Department of Agriculture. The gift box offers a unique way to celebrate Kansas while highlighting products made across the state.
The United States will mark its 250th anniversary on July 4, 2026. This milestone, known as the Semiquincentennial, has been recognized for 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Kansans are encouraged to reflect on the history, progress, and resilience that helped shape the state and the nation.
Each purchase of the Kansas 250 Gift Box supports Kansas based agricultural businesses and food producers. In partnership with the Kansas 250 Commission, one dollar from every gift box sold is used to promote Kansas 250 events and related programming across the state. These events are designed to bring communities together and highlight Kansas history, culture, and agriculture.
The celebration officially kicks off with a promotional giveaway hosted by From the Land of Kansas on its social media page. One Kansas 250 Gift Box will be awarded, with the winner announced on Kansas Day, January 29. The gift boxes are available for purchase online and are also sold at select Kansas 250 events throughout the year.
Each limited-edition gift box includes a variety of items that are grown, raised, or produced in Kansas. Items include Sandhill plum jelly, burger seasoning, honey, red wine chocolate, kettle corn popcorn, beeswax lip balm, and a From the Land of Kansas branded measuring spoon. Together, these products represent the quality and diversity of Kansas agriculture.
The From the Land of Kansas trademark program promotes agricultural experiences and products made in the state. Through this program, consumers are encouraged to support local businesses while celebrating Kansas' pride and heritage.
