The Kansas Livestock Association (KLA) will host the Cattlemen’s Banquet during its annual Convention & Expo, bringing together cattle producers, industry leaders, and supporters for an evening of recognition, entertainment, and fundraising. The event highlights the contributions of individuals and organizations that support Kansas agriculture and the livestock industry.
The banquet is sponsored by INTRUST Bank, FERA Diagnostics & Biologicals, MWI Animal Health, Flint Hills Stockyards, and Tyson Fresh Meats. Their support helps KLA provide valuable opportunities for networking, education, and industry engagement.
One of the evening’s main attractions will be the recognition of longtime KLA members for their dedication and service to the association. The event will also honor scholarship recipients whose academic achievements demonstrate their potential as future leaders in agriculture.
In addition to celebrating accomplishments, the banquet will raise funds for important agricultural initiatives. A live auction will benefit the KLA Political Action Committee, Kansas Livestock Foundation, and Ranchland Trust of Kansas, supporting educational programs, advocacy efforts, and land conservation projects.
Entertainment for the evening will be provided by Tim the Dairy Farmer, a Florida dairyman and stand-up comedian known for combining agricultural experiences with humor. His performances draw inspiration from farm life and rural communities, making his comedy relatable to audiences across the agricultural sector.
Tim has performed throughout North America at comedy clubs, county fairs, country music festivals, and agricultural events. His unique perspective and storytelling style have made him a popular entertainer among farmers, ranchers, and rural audiences.
Despite his growing comedy career, Tim remains actively involved in dairy farming. He is also a regular contributor on SiriusXM and is signed with Git-R-Done Records, a label founded by comedian Larry the Cable Guy.
The KLA Convention & Expo will take place November 18-20,2026, in Manhattan, Kansas. Members can register online or by calling (785) 273-5115, with discounted registration rates available through October 30 before prices increase on October 31,2026.
