Kansas voters will have an opportunity to hear directly from candidates in two major statewide races during debates at the Kansas State Fair in Hutchinson. The events will give voters a chance to learn more about the candidates and their priorities ahead of the election.
The gubernatorial debate will feature Republican candidate Ty Masterson and Democratic candidate Cindy Holscher at 10:30 a.m. on September,12,2026. The moderated discussion will focus on issues affecting Kansas and the candidates' plans for the state's future.
Later that day, Republican incumbent Roger Marshall and Democratic challenger Adam Hamilton will participate in a U.S. Senate debate beginning at 1:30 p.m. The event will provide voters with an opportunity to compare the candidates' positions on key state and national issues.
Both debates will be held at the Heartland Credit Union Pavilion on the Kansas State Fairgrounds. The events will also be broadcast live on 580 WIBW and streamed online, allowing audiences across Kansas to follow the discussions.
