The deadline for applications to join the 2025 Young Stockmen’s Academy (YSA) class is fast approaching, with submissions closing on Sunday, December 1. The program, now in its 19th year, has been a key initiative since its launch in 2006, aimed at equipping young leaders with skills and knowledge about the agriculture industry.
YSA features four seminars held throughout the year, providing participants with insights into the Kansas Livestock Association (KLA), the legislative process, and the beef and dairy industries. These seminars offer hands-on learning experiences to deepen understanding and foster leadership skills among young agricultural enthusiasts.
