Thinking about starting your own farm? Join a three-part virtual workshop this April designed for aspiring and beginning farmers. This online series offers a chance to explore your interest in farming, gain guidance from experienced farmers, and connect with others who are also considering farm ownership.
The sessions will help participants identify personal values, assess their readiness to run a farm business, and develop a plan to move forward. Each session is scheduled for Thursday evening, making it convenient for those balancing other commitments. The entire three-session series is available for just $15.
Workshop Schedule:
- April 10 (6–8 PM): Establishing Your Purpose – Explore your motivations and long-term goals.
- April 17 (6–8 PM): Assessing Readiness – Evaluate your skills, resources, and support systems.
- April 24 (6–8 PM): Creating a Plan – Begin drafting a practical plan to guide your next steps.
This event will be held via Zoom and is organized by Ryan Goertzen-Regier. For more details or to register, contact Ryan at (866) 579-5469 or email ryangr@kansasruralcenter.org.
Whether you're new to agriculture or still considering your path, this workshop series offers a supportive space to grow your farm dream.
