Kansas ag expo 2024 - Hutchinson hosts premier farm show

By Scout Nelson

Hutchinson, Kansas, is gearing up to host the inaugural Kansas Ag Expo from April 4-6, 2024, at the Kansas State Fairgrounds. This event, a collaboration between Star Expos, the Kansas State Fair, and Visit Hutch, aims to become a pivotal gathering in the agricultural sector, spotlighting advances in farm technology, equipment, and research.

Star Expos, renowned for orchestrating the Great Bend Farm & Ranch Expo, brings its extensive experience and network to Hutchinson, offering a more strategic venue for trade and exhibition.

The Kansas Ag Expo will occupy the Meadowlark, Sunflower South, and Sunflower North Buildings, along with expansive outdoor exhibit areas, totaling over 92,000 square feet of indoor exhibit space.

This expo is set to be an international affair, with exhibitors from 27 states, Canada, Australia, and England, making it one of the largest farm shows in the United States.

Attendees can look forward to a diverse showcase, including premier livestock, farm equipment, and a variety of seminars and demonstrations tailored to the agricultural community and enthusiasts.

The Kansas Ag Expo is supported by prominent sponsors such as the Kansas State Fair, KWCH, Fenoglio Boot Company, and the American Hat Company. For more details or to get involved, interested parties can reach out to the show office via phone at 866-685-0989 or email at info@starexpos.net.

As Holly Leiker, Director of National Sales & Sports Events for Visit Hutch, highlights, this expo not only brings another significant event to the community but also emphasizes the role of agricultural tourism as an economic catalyst for Hutchinson and the surrounding region.

The Kansas Ag Expo represents a significant milestone in promoting agricultural innovation and fostering connections within the farming industry.
