Four Kansas State University students have been awarded $1,000 Kansas CattleWomen Scholarships through the Kansas Livestock Foundation (KLF). The scholarships recognize students pursuing higher education in agriculture and related fields.
The 2025 recipients are Jodi Donley and Josie Kueser of Ellsworth, Hannah Perrier of Eureka, and Jensen Sturdy of Lyndon. The awards support students preparing for careers in agriculture, food production, and rural communities.
The scholarship program is funded through individual donations and proceeds from a live auction held during a previous Kansas Livestock Association (KLA) Convention. These funds help provide financial assistance to students pursuing agriculture-related degrees.
To be eligible, applicants must graduate from a Kansas high school and attend an in-state college or university. Students must also be studying agriculture, dietetics, food safety, or a related field.
Through these scholarships, Kansas CattleWomen and the Kansas Livestock Foundation continue to support the development of future agricultural professionals. The program encourages academic achievement and helps strengthen the future workforce of Kansas agriculture.
