Kansas Livestock Foundation (KLF) awarded a $1,000 HydraBed Scholarship to Leo DeDonder of Admire, Kansas. He is the son of Kevin and Misty DeDonder and will attend Kansas State University as a freshman.
The scholarship supports students pursuing higher education and future careers in agriculture and rural communities. It also recognizes DeDonder’s commitment to agricultural advancement and leadership.
Funding for the scholarship came from proceeds generated through the auction of an across-bed toolbox at the 2025 Kansas Livestock Association (KLA) Convention & Expo. The program reflects ongoing support from agricultural organizations and industry partners.
HydraBed sponsors the scholarship as part of its commitment to the agricultural sector. The company manufactures hydraulic truck-bed systems commonly used in ranching, livestock feeding, and other agricultural operations.
The scholarship program helps students achieve their educational goals while encouraging involvement in agriculture-related fields. Through initiatives like this, KLF continues to invest in the future of Kansas agriculture and rural communities.
