Kansas Farm Bureau’s (KFB) Voters Organized to Elect Farm Bureau Friends (VOTE FBF) political action committee has announced additional endorsements for Kansas House candidates following the August primary election. The endorsements were based on member feedback and the organization’s evaluation of candidates’ support for agricultural priorities.
Since its founding in 1993, VOTE FBF has supported candidates who align with Kansas Farm Bureau policies and demonstrate an understanding of the state's agricultural industry. The endorsement process is guided by a 10-member board that also considers input from Farm Bureau members across Kansas.
The organization places significant value on member engagement when assessing candidates for endorsement. Officials say the process helps identify individuals who can effectively represent farmers, ranchers, and rural communities in the Kansas Legislature.
According to KFB, endorsed candidates are selected based on their willingness to engage with Farm Bureau members and their understanding of issues affecting agriculture. The organization believes these candidates can help advance policies that support the future growth and success of the agricultural sector.
The latest Kansas House endorsements include Courtney Sappington in District 5, Tyler Coats in District 75, Russel Stukey in District 76, and Kevin D. O’Brien in District 101. VOTE FBF said these candidates have demonstrated a commitment to learning about agricultural concerns and working with Farm Bureau members.
VOTE FBF is funded through voluntary contributions from supporters who want to strengthen agriculture’s voice in the political process.
