Lucinda Stuenkel, owner and operator of Sunny Day Farms, will host a Grazing and Cattle Handling Tour on September 12, 2026, as part of the International Year of the Woman Farmer initiative. The event highlights the contributions of women in agriculture while creating opportunities for education and peer-to-peer learning.
The tour will take place at 1835 Parallel Road, Palmer, Kansas, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Registration opens at 9:00 a.m., with participants invited to spend the day exploring livestock management practices and farm operations.
Attendees will gain practical insights into grazing strategies and cattle handling techniques through guided tours and educational sessions. The program is designed to showcase effective approaches that can help improve livestock productivity and pasture management.
A key focus of the event is sharing real-world experiences from Lucinda Stuenkel and Sunny Day Farms, providing visitors with an opportunity to learn directly from a producer actively managing a cattle operation. Discussions will also highlight the leadership and impact of women within the agricultural industry.
