KLA supports ag graduates with free membership

By Scout Nelson

The Kansas Livestock Association (KLA) is offering a unique opportunity for recent agricultural graduates to integrate into the industry seamlessly. With a complimentary one-year membership, graduates can access a wealth of resources tailored to foster their professional growth.

This initiative is designed for those who have recently earned an agricultural or related degree from institutions such as Kansas State University, K-State College of Veterinary Medicine, Fort Hays State University, or any Kansas community college. Community college graduates are eligible for this offer only if they are not continuing their education at a four-year institution.

Member benefits include a subscription to the weekly KLA News & Market Report, the Kansas Stockman magazine, as well as legislative representation. Members receive assistance with legal and regulatory compliance, among other advantages.

To qualify for this program, graduates must reside in Kansas and have completed their degrees recently. Interested alumni can apply by visiting the KLA website where they can find the application form. This form can be submitted either by email to shelbi@kla.org or mailed directly to the KLA.

This program exemplifies KLA’s commitment to supporting the next generation of agricultural professionals by providing them with the tools and connections necessary to thrive in the industry.
