The U.S. Wheat Associates (USW), the principal export market development organization for the American wheat industry, has announced its new officers for the fiscal year 2025/26. This significant leadership transition took place during the board of directors' meeting on January 15, 2025, in Washington, D.C., marking a pivotal moment for the organization.
Starting July 2025, the newly elected Secretary-Treasurer will step into their role, initiating a series of leadership changes slated for the July board meeting in Boise, Idaho. The current Secretary-Treasurer will advance to the position of Vice Chairman, while the current Vice Chairman will assume the role of Chairman.
The existing Chairman will transition to the role of Past Chairperson, continuing to offer their experience and guidance to the board.
The USW plays a critical role in promoting U.S. wheat by developing, maintaining, and expanding international markets, essential for the sustainability and growth of the U.S. wheat industry.
