Kansas Seeing Hotter Temperatures, Some Rain

For the week ending Sunday, precipitation of an inch or more was common across the eastern two-thirds of Kansas with heavier amounts in south central counties, according to the USDA's National Agricultural Statistics Service. However, southwestern counties remained mostly dry. Temperatures averaged two to six degrees above normal. Planting advanced slowly due to wet soils. Statewide, there were 4.1 days . . .
