The Kansas Department of Agriculture is now accepting registrations for the 2025 Kansas Governor’s Summit on Agricultural Growth. Scheduled for Thursday, August 14, the event will take place at the K-State Alumni Center in Manhattan, Kansas.
The summit will bring together agricultural leaders, agribusiness professionals, and industry experts to explore new opportunities for growth in the sector. This year marks the 10th annual edition of the summit, which continues to be a key event for Kansas agriculture.
Participants can look forward to engaging breakout sessions that will focus on research and value-added opportunities across the agricultural sector. These sessions aim to explore innovative ways to strengthen and expand Kansas agriculture.
The event’s keynote speaker will be Tanner Ehmke of CoBank. A Kansas native and K-State alumnus, Ehmke will offer expert insights into the economic challenges facing Kansas agriculture. His experience and knowledge are expected to provide valuable prospects for all attendees.
This year’s summit will follow a new schedule. The main event will begin in the afternoon after a light lunch. The traditional social event, which in previous years was held the night before, will now follow the summit in the evening.
Thanks to generous sponsor support, attendance at the Ag Growth Summit is free. However, advance registration is required by August 1 to ensure lunch is provided. Walk-ins will be allowed as space permits.

“All farmers, ranchers, agribusiness owners and industry professionals are welcome at the 2025 Ag Growth Summit — if you’re committed to working for agricultural growth in Kansas, please join us in this effort.”
