AI Spraying Leader Greeneye Launches Kansas Headquarters

By Scout Nelson

Greeneye Technology has established its North American headquarters in Salina, Kansas, following a strong 2026 season characterized by expanded crop compatibility and significant herbicide savings for growers.

During the 2026 season, Greeneye-equipped sprayers treated more than 500,000 acres across 12 states and achieved weed detection accuracy exceeding 98%. The company's dual-line spraying technology helped customers reduce non-residual herbicide use by an average of 81%, saving an estimated six million gallons of chemicals.

Greeneye expanded its technology platform to support eight crops, including corn, soybeans, cotton, edible beans, wheat, barley, triticale, and sorghum. The company plans to add support for oats, sugar beets, peanuts, and canola in 2027 while continuing to grow its dealer network.

The new Salina headquarters will support customer service, product development, and workforce expansion. The company selected the location because of its proximity to key agricultural regions, transportation infrastructure, testing opportunities, and access to skilled talent.

Greeneye also highlighted potential collaborations with Kansas State University and the broader academic community. Company leaders believe the new headquarters will strengthen support for growers while advancing future technology development.

The company's targeted spraying platform uses computer vision and machine learning to identify weeds in real time and apply herbicides only where needed. Its dual-tank, dual-line design enables growers to apply residual and non-residual herbicides simultaneously, and the system can be installed on existing commercial sprayers.

Local and state officials welcomed Greeneye's investment in Kansas, citing the state's strong agricultural sector and growing role in agricultural innovation. The company plans to begin hiring immediately and expects to hold an official ribbon-cutting ceremony at the facility early next year.
