Celebrate Soybean Success in Kansas

Celebrate Soybean Success in Kansas

By Scout Nelson

The Kansas Soybean Celebration will return for its second year on January 30 in Salina, offering soybean growers a chance to gather, recognize achievements and celebrate positive developments in the agriculture sector.

This event continues the successful transition from the former Soybean Expo and aims to bring growers together in a central location that encourages greater participation.

The celebration is scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m., following the Kansas Commodity Classic and the annual meeting of the Kansas Soybean Association. All soybean growers in Kansas are invited to attend. The event includes an evening meal, updates from the organizing association, and a special awards ceremony that highlights contributions to the soybean industry.

A keynote address will be delivered by Tyne Morgan, a respected agricultural journalist and host of the U.S. Farm Report. She is known for her work sharing stories from rural communities across America and highlighting the determination and hard work that drive agricultural success. Her message will provide inspiration and insight for attendees.

The Kansas Soybean Celebration will also include recognition of several important honors. These include the Friend of Soy and Meritorious Service awards, as well as acknowledgments for farmer-leaders completing their service terms. In addition, the results of the Kansas Soybean Yield and Value Contests will be announced, giving growers an opportunity to celebrate outstanding efforts in production and performance.

This event is organized by the Kansas Soybean Association and supported through checkoff funding from the Kansas Soybean Commission. Attendance is free, and participants can find registration details and updates at www.kansassoybeans.org/celebration.

The Kansas Soybean Celebration continues to grow as a welcoming space for learning, connection and recognition, helping strengthen the soybean community and highlight achievements across the state.
