Kansas Stockman invites its members to share photos that show daily life on ranches, feedyards, and dairies for possible use in the magazine’s popular Member Moments section. This feature continues to grow and offers a special way for members to highlight real experiences across Kansas in agriculture.
The communications team welcomes new photo submissions throughout the year. Members can send photos that reflect livestock work, seasonal activities, animal care, and other moments related to Kansas Livestock Association programs and events. These photos help present an authentic view of the livestock industry.
“Share what’s going on around the ranch, feedyard or dairy for possible use in the Member Moments department of the Kansas Stockman.”
Submitted photos are reviewed by the communications staff. Photo quality and subject matter help decide which photos may appear in future magazine issues. Submitting photos does not guarantee publication, but all approved images are saved for possible use in upcoming editions.
Smartphone photos are usually clear enough for print, so professional camera equipment is not required. This makes participation easy and open to all members who want to share their daily work and special moments.
Members who have already sent photos that have not yet been published should not worry. All submissions remain on file and may be featured in future issues of Kansas Stockman.

This opportunity allows members to help build a visual story of Kansas livestock production while connecting with others who share similar work and values. It also strengthens communication across the agriculture community and encourages pride in daily operations.
Kansas Stockman continues to highlight real stories and images from across the state. By sharing photos, members play an active role in celebrating Kansas agriculture and the people who support it every day.
