The highly anticipated annual Feeding Quality Forum, hosted by Certified Angus Beef, is set to take place on August 22-23 in Lincoln, NE. This premier event brings together stakeholders from across the cattle industry, including cattle feeders and cow-calf producers, to delve into the latest trends and key issues surrounding fed cattle production.
An exciting addition to this year's forum is a morning tour that offers attendees an exclusive opportunity to witness firsthand how premium beef adds value throughout the supply chain. Limited to 45 participants, this pre-event session will include a visit to Sysco Lincoln, a CAB-licensed distributor, providing insights into the inner workings of supplying the foodservice sector. Registration for the tour is $50 in addition to the event registration fee.
The two-day forum will feature engaging speaker presentations covering a range of topics, including market dynamics, stewardship practices, beef grading, supply challenges, feedyard cattle health, demand drivers, and innovative tools to enhance beef quality.
Furthermore, the 2023 Industry Achievement Award will be presented to Steve Hunt for his exceptional vision and leadership at U.S. Premium Beef. Hunt's contributions have led to the development of a sustainable business model that empowers cattle producers to achieve greater financial rewards, benefiting the entire beef supply chain. He joins a distinguished group of industry legends, including Randy Blach, Paul Engler, Topper Thorpe, Lee Borck, Larry Corah, John Matsushima, and Bob Smith, who have previously been honored for their outstanding contributions to the feeding industry.
