The Kansas Rural Center (KRC) invites you to the Annual Food and Farm Conference on November 10th and 11th in Topeka, Kansas. This year, with the theme "Urgency and Resilience: Cultivating a Thriving Future," the event is set to spark insightful discussions and present practical steps for a sustainable agricultural future.
As concerns rise about the future readiness of Kansas agriculture, KRC collaborates with state-wide partners to offer guidance and action plans for farmers and community members. The conference will serve as a platform for learning, sharing, and preparing for the challenges ahead.
The two-day event will kick off with intensive learning sessions at the Sunflower Foundation on Friday, including a unique opportunity to visit the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation's Industrial Hemp Facility. Participants can expect an educational farm tour, exploring innovative farming practices and sustainable crop production.
On Saturday, the conference continues at the Ramada Hotel and Convention Center, where attendees will engage with various topics pertinent to the agriculture sector. The day's agenda promises to be filled with resourceful sessions led by experienced agriculture professionals.
Those interested in attending can register and view the full agenda and keep abreast of any schedule updates by visiting the KRC's official webpage.

With the urgency to adapt and grow amidst changing agricultural landscapes, the conference emerges as an essential gathering for those committed to fostering resilience and advancing Kansas's food systems.
