Kansas Corn and Kansas Soybeans are teaming up to combine their highly regarded crop management schools. This new partnership, in collaboration with K-State Research and Extension, presents the Kansas Corn & Soybean Schools. Scheduled for January 16-19, 2024, these sessions offer Kansas soybean and corn farmers an excellent opportunity for winter learning.
The unified approach of the schools aims to enhance convenience for farmers, allowing them to gain crucial management insights for their cropping systems in one comprehensive program. The sessions are designed to provide valuable knowledge and strategies to optimize crop production.
The schools will take place over four days, with each day hosting events at different locations across Kansas. Each session starts with sign-in at 8:30 A.M., followed by a series of speakers beginning at 9 A.M. The program for each day wraps up around 3 P.M. The schedule is as follows:
- Tuesday, January 16 at the KSU Southeast Research & Extension Center in Parsons.
- Wednesday, January 17 at AGCO Corporation in Hesston.
- Thursday, January 18 at the Corteva Agriscience Research Center in Garden City.
- Friday, January 19 at the John Deere Ag Marketing Center in Olathe.
These sessions promise to be invaluable for those involved in Kansas' corn and soybean sectors, offering insights and tactics directly applicable to their agricultural practices.
