The Kansas Department of Agriculture’s Marketing and Promotions Advisory Board will hold its next scheduled meeting on Friday, December 12, beginning at 9:00 a.m. The meeting will take place at the Kansas Department of Agriculture office located at 1320 Research Park Drive in Manhattan. A virtual participation option is also available for individuals who request it in advance.
This meeting is open to the public, and community members are encouraged to attend. Anyone wanting a copy of the agenda or instructions on how to join the meeting virtually may contact the agriculture marketing division director.
Providing these details ensures that participants have the information they need to follow the discussion and stay informed about statewide marketing and promotional efforts.
People who need special accommodation must meet their needs at least two days before the scheduled meeting. This ensures that all participants have equal access to the meeting and can fully engage in the discussion.
The Marketing and Promotions Advisory Board plays a key role in strengthening agricultural visibility and supporting the state’s largest industry. Its work aligns closely with the mission of the KDA Agricultural Marketing, Advocacy, and Outreach Team. “The mission of the KDA Agricultural Marketing, Advocacy and Outreach Team is to serve all Kansans through innovative programming and delivering solutions designed to create an environment that facilitates growth and expansion in agriculture while increasing pride in and awareness of the state’s largest industry — agriculture.”
Through regular meetings, the Board provides guidance on marketing initiatives, evaluates outreach programs, and supports efforts designed to promote Kansas agriculture both within the state and beyond. The December meeting will continue this work by creating a space for updates, planning, and conversations that help strengthen the future of Kansas agriculture.
