The Kansas Livestock Association has announced new volunteer leadership for three of its councils, marking the start of a new leadership year for the organization’s cattle feeders, stockgrowers, and dairy sectors.
New leaders have stepped into roles on the KLA Cattle Feeders Council Executive Committee. The council’s leadership team includes a chair and vice chair supported by committee members representing feedyards, livestock service providers, and agribusiness operations. A past chair will continue to serve on the executive committee to provide experience and continuity.
The KLA Stockgrowers Council has also selected new leadership for the upcoming year. The council is led by a chair and vice chair and supported by an eleven-member committee. Members represent a wide range of geographic regions and livestock operations across Kansas. An immediate past chair remains involved on the executive committee to assist with leadership transition and ongoing initiatives.
Leadership changes were also announced for the KLA Dairy Council. The council has named a new chair and vice chair to guide its work. These leaders will help represent dairy interests, support industry discussions, and contribute to policy and educational efforts.
The Kansas Livestock Association councils play an important role in representing livestock producers and agribusiness professionals. Council leaders help guide policy discussions, support education efforts, and provide direction on issues affecting the livestock industry at the state and national levels.
Volunteer leadership is a key part of KLA’s structure. Council leaders work together to identify challenges, share ideas, and promote the long-term success of Kansas livestock operations. Their service supports collaboration across different segments of the livestock industry.
With new leadership in place, the councils will continue focusing on industry priorities such as market conditions, animal health, sustainability, and regulatory issues. These efforts help ensure that livestock voices are heard and that the industry remains strong and competitive.
The Kansas Livestock Association thanks outgoing leaders for their service and welcomes the new council leadership teams as they begin their work for the year ahead.
