Members Invited to Share Ranch Life Photos

By Scout Nelson

The Kansas Stockman magazine is calling on its members to share photos capturing moments from their daily work on ranches, feedyards, or dairies. These member-submitted photos may be featured in the magazine’s Member Moments section, offering readers a glimpse into real-life livestock operations across Kansas.

The Member Moments section highlights authentic images shared by Kansas Livestock Association (KLA) members. Whether showcasing the beauty of the countryside, the routine tasks of livestock care, or special moments of the operation, the photos provide readers with a personal look at Kansas agriculture.

Members who have already sent pictures need not worry—the editorial team is saving all submissions, and photos not yet used may appear in future editions. This ensures every submission remains in consideration for upcoming publications.

KLA members interested in participating should submit their photos by clicking the link provided. While professional equipment is not required, the photos must relate to livestock or the KLA and meet basic quality standards. Smartphone pictures often meet the publication’s printing needs, making it easy for members to contribute.

“Submitting pictures for consideration is not a guarantee they will be included in a future issue.”

The editorial staff reviews submissions based on content, relevance, and photo quality before making publication decisions. This initiative gives members a chance to showcase their hard work and dedication to the livestock industry while adding a personal touch to the Kansas Stockman magazine.

Through this invitation, the Kansas Stockman hopes to strengthen its connection with readers and highlight the vibrant life and work of Kansas livestock producers. Sharing photos not only tells the story of agriculture but also brings members together in celebrating their shared experiences.
