The 2023 Kansas Governor's Summit on Agricultural Growth is just around the corner, and you don't want to miss this exciting event! Join the Kansas Department of Agriculture in Manhattan on August 17 at the Hilton Garden Inn's Conference Center for a day filled with inspiring speakers and valuable discussions.

This year's summit will focus on growth opportunities for agriculture in Kansas, with speakers like Chuck Conner, President, and CEO of the National Council of Farmer Cooperatives, and Nathan Hendricks, an agricultural economics professor at K-State specializing in land and water economics. The day's discussions will center on the crucial topics of workforce and water, which significantly impact the potential for growth in the state's agriculture.

All farmers, ranchers, agribusiness owners, and industry professionals are encouraged to attend and contribute to the collective effort for agricultural growth in Kansas. As a community working towards a common goal, your presence and ideas are invaluable.

The summit will also feature a special social event on the evening of August 16, where you can network and connect with like-minded individuals in a relaxed setting.

Registration for the event is free, but please register in advance to help organizers prepare adequate materials and meals. Visit www.agriculture.ks.gov/Summit to secure your spot and find a link to reserve a room at the Hilton Garden Inn.
