Kansas students have earned the Kansas Agriculture Skills and Competencies Certificate, showcasing their passion for agriculture and dedication to excellence. 27 general certificate recipients, six animal science certificate recipients, and two plant systems certificate recipients from Buhler, Centre, Cheney, Holton, and Republic County high schools.
Students have to exhibit a thorough knowledge of agricultural expertise, professional preparedness, and leadership development in order to obtain this prestigious credential. Their dedication to academic success was clear given that all school courses had to have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above.
John Clark, agriculture education teacher at Buhler High School, expressed pride in the recipients, highlighting that this recognition was a testament to their diverse agricultural expertise and success inside and outside the classroom.
