Stockman freelances writer Macey Mueller earned second place in the news story category for her article, “Water conservation conversations,” which appeared in the November/December 2024 issue. Her article focused on critical issues surrounding water conservation in agriculture and was well-received for its in-depth coverage.
In addition to individual article achievements, KLA earned honorable mentions in the event/show program and logo design categories. The 2024 KLA Convention & Expo guide was honored in the event/show program category, while the convention logo received praise in the logo design category.
The competition, which saw over 350 entries, is organized by the Livestock Publications Council, a professional organization dedicated to improving the quality of livestock media.
