Rogers Arkansas To Host NASDA 2025 Gathering

By Jamie Martin

The National Association of State Departments of Agriculture (NASDA) will hold its 2025 Annual Meeting in Rogers, Arkansas, from September 14 to 17, hosted by the Arkansas Department of Agriculture. Themed “Securing Our Future Through Agriculture,” this premier gathering will welcome commissioners, secretaries, and directors of agriculture from all 50 states, four territories, and key industry leaders.

The meeting will showcase Arkansas’s leadership in agriculture while encouraging collaboration to address the nation’s most pressing farming challenges. Federal leaders will also take part, providing insights into agricultural priorities and opportunities for partnerships that strengthen food security and support rural communities.

Highlights include a Food Innovation and Consumer Panel featuring Walmart and Tyson Foods, with opening remarks from Tyson Foods CEO Donnie King. Another session, the Water, Rice, and Ducks Panel, will highlight how agriculture, water use, and wildlife conservation intersect, with perspectives from USA Rice Chairman Keith Glover and Lonoke County rice farmer Mark Isbell.

“Agriculture is national security and is critical to our everyday lives. It is an honor for us to serve as President of NASDA and host this year’s annual meeting,” said Arkansas Secretary of Agriculture Wes Ward. “The NASDA Annual Meeting is a great opportunity to showcase Arkansas agriculture while addressing the most pressing issues facing farmers and ranchers nationwide.”

Registration for attendees and sponsors is open until September 10. The event will serve as a hub for shaping agricultural policy, building partnerships, and promoting innovation to ensure a secure and resilient agricultural future.
