The event starts at 2:00 p.m. ET at the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) building, with media allowed to set up at 1:15 p.m.
This public event includes U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Brooke L. Rollins, Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy Jr., and FDA Commissioner Dr. Martin A. Makary. These top officials will share the stage with Michael Dykes, President of the International Dairy Foods Association (IDFA), and Andy Jacobs, CEO of Turkey Hill, a company known for its ice cream.
Together, these leaders plan to make a special announcement that may impact the dairy industry and public health. The timing of the event also celebrates National Ice Cream Month, which is observed in July across the country.
