Kansas Ag Team Plans Future Promotions

By Scout Nelson

The Kansas Department of Agriculture (KDA) will hold its Marketing and Promotions Advisory Board meeting at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, June 27. The meeting will take place at the KDA office, located at 1320 Research Park Drive in Manhattan.

The meeting is open to the public. Anyone who would like to receive a copy of the agenda or instructions on how to participate is encouraged to contact Suzanne Ryan-Numrich, director of the agriculture marketing division, at 785-564-6704 or Suzanne.Numrich@ks.gov.

“Persons who require special accommodations must make their needs known at least two days prior to the meeting.”

The advisory board plays a key role in helping the KDA’s Agricultural Marketing, Advocacy, and Outreach Team fulfill its mission. This team works to support all Kansans through programs and strategies that promote agricultural growth and expansion. They also aim to increase awareness and pride in Kansas’ largest industry — agriculture.

The board meetings allow members to discuss and review various marketing and promotional strategies that highlight Kansas agriculture both locally and beyond. It provides a space for collaboration and planning around events, education campaigns, and industry outreach.

Meetings like this serve as an important step in shaping efforts to ensure the continued success and visibility of agriculture in the state. Public engagement in these meetings helps strengthen transparency and gather valuable community input.

For more information or to participate, visit the Kansas Department of Agriculture website or reach out to the marketing team through the contact details provided.
