Kansas State University will host the “AI in Kansas Ag Conference” on July 22 in Lyndon, Kansas. This free event will explore the latest agricultural technologies using artificial intelligence (AI), covering both crop and livestock management.
The conference will begin at 1:00 p.m. and is open to producers, researchers, industry stakeholders, and community members. Registration is free but limited to the first 200 participants.
Attendees will join educational sessions led by expert panelists. Topics will include the history of AI in agriculture, the reliability and trust in AI systems, and a breakdown of the costs and benefits of using AI-powered tools. These tools include drones, automated farm equipment, virtual fencing, and other precision technologies helping shape the future of farming.
One of the main highlights will be a live spray drone demonstration, giving participants a closer look at how drones are used in field applications for more efficient crop management. The conference will end with dinner and more hands-on demonstrations of various agricultural technologies.
