"Visit Hutch is thrilled to add another national junior livestock event to the host of events that are held at the Kansas State Fairgrounds each year. We always loenjoyve welcoming these youth competitors and are excited to host the Mini Herefords for this first time in June," said Holly Leiker, national sports and destination sales manager for Visit Hutch. "It is great when we get to showcase the Hutchinson community to new visitors and highlight the many attractions, shopping and dining experiences we have to offer."

Visit Hutch and the Kansas State Fairgrounds began working with the National Mini Hereford's Association in 2016 and looking at the possibility of hosting a future Junior National Show in Hutchinson. The proposal for the 2020 Junior National Show was submitted in last June and awarded in late December.
