The Kansas 4H program is opening its enrollment and re-enrollment period for the new year starting October 1. This annual opportunity allows young participants to explore leadership, agriculture, and community-based learning activities through the Kansas 4H Online system.
Each year, youth across Kansas take part in 4H programs that inspire growth, teamwork, and responsibility. The program helps participants learn essential life skills, engage in hands-on projects, and contribute to their local communities. Enrollment marks the start of another exciting year filled with challenges, competitions, and educational adventures.
Those who have previously participated in 4H are required to complete their re-enrollment by November 1. Meeting this deadline is crucial to maintaining eligibility for the current year’s privileges.
Youth who do not re-enroll by this date will become ineligible to receive exhibitor premiums or participate in premium auctions. They will also lose the opportunity to hold leadership positions at the county or district level.
To ensure continued participation and access to all benefits, members are encouraged to complete their enrollment early. The 4H Online system makes the process quick and convenient for both new and returning members.
Participants and families can find detailed enrollment instructions, eligibility requirements, and resources by visiting the official website at https://www.meadowlark.k-state.edu/4-h/enrollment.html. For further assistance, they can contact the 4H office directly at 785-863-2212 for guidance.
“Each new 4H year begins on October 1. On this day, enrollment and re-enrollment open via the Kansas 4H Online system as well,” the organization shared.
Kansas 4H continues to empower youth through education, leadership, and community involvement, shaping the next generation of agricultural and civic leaders.
