Kubota Tractor Corporation, in partnership with the Farmer Veteran Coalition (FVC), announced the selection of five new farmer veteran recipients of Kubota equipment as part of its 2023 "Geared to Give" program.
The announcement took place during a special ceremony with NASCAR Cup Series driver Ross Chastain and the Trackhouse Racing team before the Hollywood Casino 400 at Kansas Speedway.
The honorees for 2023 are:
1. Chelsey Stimson, U.S. Navy veteran from Bridger, Montana.
2. Eric Pollack, U.S. Army veteran from Willisburg, Kentucky.
3. Joshua Morris, U.S. Army veteran from Rolla, Missouri.
4. Hunter Uhland, U.S. Air Force veteran from Atwood, Kansas.
5. Brian Chambers, U.S. Air Force veteran from Alstead, New Hampshire.
Kubota, a primary sponsor of Trackhouse Racing Chevrolets in seven races this season, has donated $10,000 to the Farmer Veteran Coalition to support military veterans entering farming.
The 'Geared to Give' program empowers veterans with necessary equipment to achieve their dreams through farming, according to Alex Woods, senior vice president and Army National Guard veteran.
The 2023 "Geared to Give" program received nearly 700 applications from FVC's Farmer Veteran Fellowship Fund, with one recipient chosen by each of Kubota's five U.S. operating divisions. The recipients received Kubota equipment tailored to their farming needs, with Kubota providing over $900,000 since 2015.
