During the 97th Kansas FFA Convention held from May 28 to 30, 2025, three dedicated individuals were awarded Honorary FFA Degrees for their exceptional service and contributions to agricultural education. The event took place on the Kansas State University campus.
One of the honorees is an advisor for the Arkansas City FFA Chapter who also serves as the 2024–2025 President of the Kansas Association of Agricultural Educators. A proud Kansas native and past FFA member, she continues to support students in their agricultural leadership journey.
Another recipient currently chairs the Kansas FFA Foundation Board. He is also the founder and chairman of a company that sponsors the Employability Skills Leadership Development Event. His longstanding involvement in the FFA community reflects decades of dedication to youth development in agriculture.
The third honoree is the Director of Online Student Success and Advising at Kansas State University Online. A former FFA member herself, she has volunteered at the Kansas FFA State Convention since 2009 and has served as the Director of Registration for the past 13 years.
These individuals were recognized for their continuous support and volunteer efforts that helped FFA members thrive. Their work highlights the importance of leadership, mentorship, and educational support in shaping the future of agriculture in Kansas.
The Kansas FFA Association represents over 13,739 students in 240 chapters across the state. It is part of the National FFA Organization, which prepares youth for careers in agriculture.
