There is still time to register for the Flint Hills grazing course offered by Kansas State University and the Noble Research Institute. This three-part course combines practical grazing management techniques with essential business strategies to help ranchers develop adaptive grazing plans.
The course is designed to provide hands-on learning alongside valuable guidance for managing grazing lands effectively. The first session is scheduled for May 20-22, with the next two sessions planned for July 29-31 and September 9. All sessions will take place in Council Grove. The course fee is $585.00. For more information or to register, interested participants can click here.
Besides the in-person sessions, participants gain access to Rancher to Rancher, a monthly virtual meeting where ranchers can share experiences and discuss important operational topics. This peer network helps build knowledge and community support among ranchers.
Additionally, every rancher enrolled in the course will have the option to schedule a 45-minute one-on-one consultation with a Noble Research Institute consultant. This personalized meeting allows participants to address specific challenges or set goals tailored to their operations.
Participants also receive exclusive tools and resources designed to support adaptive grazing management and improve business outcomes. The course aims to equip ranchers with the skills and support needed to manage their grazing lands sustainably and profitably.
Overall, the Flint Hills grazing course offers an excellent opportunity for ranchers seeking practical education, expert advice, and peer support to enhance their grazing management practices in 2025.
