Virtual Cattle Event Focuses on Stewardship

Virtual Cattle Event Focuses on Stewardship

By Scout Nelson

Producers who missed in-person Stockmanship and Stewardship events earlier this year now have the opportunity to attend virtually. The National Cattlemen’s Beef Association (NCBA) has announced a free online version of the event, scheduled for November 18–19 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. CST each day.

This two-day virtual program provides an excellent learning opportunity for cattle producers to gain practical and science-based insights into livestock management, animal welfare, and ranch business planning. Participants can join from anywhere and choose to register for one or both days.

Topics to be discussed include innovative grazing strategies, effective succession planning, and best practices in cattle handling techniques. Sessions will also highlight proper animal health protocols essential for ensuring herd well-being and long-term productivity.

An issues update will be delivered by the NCBA’s Washington, D.C., staff, covering current policy matters and regulatory developments impacting the livestock industry. This update helps producers stay informed about the latest legislative and market issues shaping the cattle sector.

“The virtual event is free, but registration is required,” organizers stated. Interested participants can complete the online registration process through the event’s official website.

Through this virtual format, NCBA aims to make high-quality educational content accessible to all cattle producers, regardless of location or schedule. The sessions are designed to enhance participants’ understanding of responsible livestock management and business resilience.

With flexible attendance options and expert-led discussions, the 2025 Virtual Stockmanship and Stewardship event offers a convenient way for producers to strengthen their knowledge and stay connected with industry advancements.
