Winter wheat planted was 76%, behind 83% last year, and near 79% for the five-year average. Emerged was 46%, behind 57% last year and 56% average.
Corn harvested was 83%, equal to last year, and ahead of 74% average.
Soybeans harvested was 66%, ahead of 55% last year and 52% average.
Sorghum condition rated 24% very poor, 31% poor, 30% fair, 14% good, and 1% excellent. Sorghum mature was 93%, near 92% last year and 91% average. Harvested was 53%, behind 59% last year, but ahead of 42% average.
Cotton condition rated 10% very poor, 41% poor, 31% fair, 17% good, and 1% excellent. Cotton bolls opening was 92%, equal to last year, and near 90% average. Harvested was 45%, well ahead of 5% last year and 7% average.
Sunflowers harvested was 43%, behind 51% last year, but ahead of 38% average.
Pasture and range conditions rated 49% very poor, 30% poor, 17% fair, 4% good, and 0% excellent.
