Kansas Livestock Club Calf Sale Entries Due

The Kansas Livestock Foundation (KLF) has announced that entries for the 2025 Club Calf Sale are due on September 12. Participants can submit entry forms electronically or mail them directly to the Kansas Livestock Association office. Both purebred and crossbred steer and heifer entries will be accepted, with a $50 fee required for each animal. Printable and electronic forms are available online.

The sale is scheduled to take place during the Kansas Junior Livestock Show in Hutchinson on October 4, beginning at 7:30 p.m. This annual event is recognized for supporting educational opportunities while showcasing quality livestock. Entry in the sale allows breeders and exhibitors to gain exposure and contribute to the future of agricultural education.

“Commission proceeds from the event are used to help fund KLF scholarships.” For the 2025–26 academic year, the foundation awarded seven Youth in Agriculture scholarships, totaling $7,000, from funds raised through last year’s sale. This continued support highlights the importance of the program for students pursuing careers in agriculture and related fields.
