Winter wheat planted was 50%, behind 60% last year, and near 54% for the five-year average. Emerged was 19%, behind 29% last year and 31% average. Corn mature was 95%, near 97% last year and 93% average. Harvested was 61%, near 64% last year, but ahead of 54% average.
Soybean condition rated 22% very poor, 24% poor, 29% fair, 23% good, and 2% excellent. Soybeans dropping leaves was 82%, equal to both last year and average. Harvested was 30%, ahead of 25% last year and 21% average.

Sunflowers harvested was 14%, behind 25% last year, and equal to average.
