Agriculture Future of America (AFA) has proudly announced its long-term partnerships with Cargill and Valent U.S.A., two prominent organizations in the food, agriculture, and natural resources industries. These partnerships, valued at $1.2 million through 2025, reinforce AFA's commitment to developing the next generation of leaders. With a combined support of nearly $4 million over 24 and 9 years, respectively, Cargill and Valent U.S.A. have been integral in providing scholarships and sponsoring students to attend AFA programs.

Both organizations have demonstrated unwavering generosity and passion for nurturing talented young leaders. Their continued dedication reflects their deep commitment to AFA and the future leaders of these industries. Representatives from Cargill and Valent U.S.A. actively participate in AFA's Board of Directors, guiding students and inspiring them about their future careers. They also engage in AFA events, fostering meaningful conversations that inspire and motivate young leaders.

Former AFA student leader, Parker Aase, acknowledges the significant impact of these partnerships. Through their presence at AFA programs and their investment in developing top talent, Cargill and Valent U.S.A. have prepared young professionals, including Aase himself, to become transformational leaders in their fields.

In addition to their financial contributions, both organizations play an essential role in inspiring their colleagues and employees to support AFA's mission. They actively encourage participation, contributing to the development of future leaders in food, agriculture, and natural resources.

AFA has been instrumental in providing premier leader and career development experiences, with a 28% increase in program participation over the last five years. Since its establishment in 1996, AFA has delivered 24,000 leader development experiences to college students and young professionals from over 200 colleges and universities across 43 states. The organization has also awarded more than $11 million in academic and leader development scholarships.
