Senator Moran will return as Chairman of the Senate Committee on Veterans’ Affairs (SVAC), taking on additional roles as a member of several key Senate committees. These include the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry, the Senate Committee on Indian Affairs, and the Senate Committee on Appropriations. He will also serve on the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation, as well as the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence. This broad involvement will allow Senator Moran to contribute significantly to a variety of important issues, ranging from veterans' services to agriculture and national security.
Senator Marshall will retain his position on the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry, where he holds seniority and will continue his work on agricultural issues, including efforts to complete a new Farm Bill. Additionally, he will remain on the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP) and the Senate Budget Committee. His role on the Agriculture Committee will be pivotal in advancing Kansas agriculture priorities. Senator Marshall will also serve on the Senate Finance Committee, further strengthening his influence in shaping policy and legislation that impacts both state and national interests.
