A special live benefit auction will take place November 19 during the KLA Convention in Manhattan. The event is part of the annual Cattlemen’s Banquet and will feature a wide variety of donated items.
All proceeds will support three major organizations: the Kansas Livestock Association Political Action Council (KLA PAC), Ranchland Trust of Kansas (RTK), and the Kansas Livestock Foundation (KLF). For individuals unable to attend in person, the auction will be broadcast online through www.LiveAuctions.tv, allowing more participants to take part in the bidding.
Many agricultural operations and industry partners have donated items for the auction. Bull sale credits for 2026 sales were contributed by several well-known cattle operations to support KLA PAC. In addition, a Pietta 1873 Great Western II .357 mag revolver engraved with the KLA PAC logo was donated. Tyson Fresh Meats and the Tyson cattle procurement team provided one box of Prime strip loins. The Kansas Regenerative Medicine Center donated one basic stem cell procedure or one neuropathy treatment.
RTK will feature five items in its portion of the auction. A 24” x 32” framed canvas of the Milky Way over Little Jerusalem, donated by photographer Bruce Hogle, will be included. An original framed canvas print of two cowboys near Strong City and a pair of framed cowboy paintings by Deborah Herrick also will be available.
In addition, a dinner for four with Kansas Agriculture Secretary Mike Beam, donated by Secretary Beam, will be auctioned. A $300 gift certificate from Zeitlow Distributing Company will also be offered.
Three donated lots will support the Kansas Livestock Foundation. HydraBed donated an across-bed toolbox, while GoBob America’s Ranch Equipment donated a Scientific Hay Conserver. Grass & Grain contributed a full-page, full-color advertisement.
Anyone interested in bidding on these items can contact Stephen Russell or Taylor Nikkel at (785) 273-5115. This auction provides an opportunity to support Kansas livestock programs while taking home unique items, equipment, and special experiences.
