The Kansas Department of Agriculture (KDA) has scheduled its next Marketing and Promotions Advisory Board meeting for 9:00 a.m. on Friday, December 13, 2024. This routine gathering will take place at the KDA office, located at 1320 Research Park Dr., Manhattan.
This meeting is part of the KDA's Agricultural Marketing, Advocacy, and Outreach Team’s ongoing efforts to foster growth and expansion in the state’s agricultural sector. The team is dedicated to innovative programming and delivering solutions that enhance the environment for agricultural advancements and heighten state pride and awareness of agriculture, which stands as Kansas’s largest industry.
The board meeting is open to the public, providing a unique opportunity for stakeholders and interested parties to engage directly with developments in agricultural marketing and advocacy. Attendees can participate either in person or virtually, making it accessible for a broader audience.
Those interested in attending or participating should reach out to Russell Plaschka, the agriculture marketing director, for further details. He can be contacted at 785-564-7466 or via email at Russell.Plaschka@ks.gov. Additionally, attendees can request a copy of the meeting agenda or directions to the KDA office.
Individuals requiring special accommodations are advised to notify the department at least two days before the meeting to ensure their needs are met. This ensures that everyone interested can fully participate in the discussions about the future of agriculture in Kansas.
This meeting is an excellent opportunity for those involved in or interested in agricultural marketing to learn more about the state's initiatives, contribute their insights, and engage with key decision-makers in the field.
